WARNING

Homeowners Be Aware of This Scam

Some of our homeowners in Oakwood Village are getting phone calls stating that the president of our homeowners association is requiring that all roofs need to be inspected and this person is asking when he can make an appointment for the inspection. This is not true. If you get such a call, hang up.

Home Improvement Tips

With all the much welcomed rain we've had recently, lawns have sprouted!! Please have your lawns mowed and maintained on a regular basis to avoid violations! And be sure to keep your pools maintained to avoid the dreaded algae and mosquito breeding grounds!

Keeping our community members safe

When hiring a contractor, please be sure to check to that they are licensed and insured!! There are a lot of scammers out there soliciting, ready to take advantage of the elderly or anyone not used to dealing with contractors. Don't be afraid to ask them for proof of insurance and their license. If they are legitimate they will have no problem with your request. NEVER pay them in cash or up front. Get referrals from your friends and neighbors. And NEVER invite them into your home.

Signs/Flags

Exterior signs and/or flags are prohibited per our bylaws.

You will be asked to remove them

Speed Limit

The speed limit throughout our community is 25 MPH.

Please slow down as many of our neighbors enjoy strolling through
